Plenty of canoeing, horseriding and cycling of course, but specific child friendly activities? Well, In Le Bugue there is ‘Le Village de Bournat’, a reconstructed village showing life in 1900; complete with a working windmill, craft makers, a funfair and organic farm and farm animals. There is also ‘Jacquou Parc’ near Le Bugue, where there are 3 parcs in one, an animal parc, amusement parc and waterparc. Some of the rides close between 1200 and 1300, so take a picnic, and best suited to young children. There is a good mini golf course, mini bowling and bouncy inflatables etc at ‘Parc de Loisirs’ in Montignac, but check their website for opening times.
